Erik Voorhees advice $40K BTC by June, yet commentators have little agreement on this
While Tim Draper has continued to stick by his $250,000 forecast for the second year in a row, ShapeShift CEO Erik Voorhees predicts that Bitcoin will hit $40,000 by the summer.
One founder of a cryptocurrency exchange predicts Bitcoin will increase to $40,000 by the "summer" of 2023.
In an interview with Bankless on January 2, Erik Voorhees, the founder and CEO of the cryptocurrency exchange ShapeShift, expressed confidence in the future rebound of Bitcoin's price, saying he "wouldn't be astonished" if it reached "like $40K" by the "summer."
Voorhees continued, saying that if his forecast came true, it would represent a "2.5X" increase over the item's current price of $16,666, which he called a "excellent return."
The executive in charge of cryptocurrency was unable to predict when the next bull run would occur, instead predicting that it will happen "six months to three years from now."

While some leaders in the cryptocurrency business have been bold enough to reveal their predictions for the future of Bitcoin, others have been more careful.
